  • Apodemus' jams have a start and a finish but they don't go to that finish in a straight line, their music takes the scenic route every time.

  • A rewarding listening experience in which instrumental sounds soaked in psychedelic elements invite us on an exciting sonic journey in which beauty appears around every corner. APODEMUS knows how to play its pieces in its usual scenarios of delirious cosmic psychedelia. Full review: https://denpafuzz.com/2024/12/01/resena-apodemus-monotone/

  • I've been listening to Apodemus since Orbital Elements, and all their releases have been great so far. That said, I feel like Monotone blows away their old material. Monk is a motorik banger in everything but the actual beat (though it's close). I really dig the way they come through for their album title - each song features a monotone rhythm, but you mostly don't notice it because the music is otherwise so dynamic. A gem of an album, and worth all of your time.

  • Another banger from guys who are physically incapable of producing a bad experience.
