“Adversarial is an amazing record, yet I can't get myself to accept this as a Black Pyramid record. In my opinion Andy Beresky is the core of Black Pyramid. Without his high density hammer on style, without his heavy yet still very detailed tone, without him in general, it feels like an album from an entirely different band with inspiration from Black Pyramid. Adversarial is a really nice and heavy album where you can have a blast listening to, yet it isn't as great as I, II or Paths of Time.”

“This album rocks. Themes of the occult and who knows what else, backed up by heavy riffs and a doomy, shamanic sound. Aphelion rocks hard, and is a banger no matter what kind of music you like. Issus is one of their fastest, heaviest songs as well. Good metal!”
