“Blackened sludge with post-metal sensibilities. This stuff is heavy and far removed from the usual sludge doom fare. Quite unique. Their groovy and uptempo parts are electrifying; the doomy parts elicit an emotional response or unearth memories long since forgotten but twisted out of shape. 2nd track is a meditative drone to prepare you for the next assault. The beginning of the last one is spooky. The last ambient bit even made me think of рожь.”
