Originally formed by bassist/producer Ben Krahl in 2012 as a one-man project, bunsenburner is a collaborative collective of musicians from the extreme metal and jazz worlds. Blending multiple genres such as free jazz, stoner/doom/sludge, ambient music, and psychedelic, noise, and post-rock, music is always captured in full-band / live settings to obtain a holistic, immersive listening experience that ranges from powerful, mountain-moving intensity to delicate, feather-light intricacy.
