“This record hits all the right beats in terms of mood, themes, style and songwriting. It is able to capture that authentic late '60s sound while also doing something fresh. The darkness that lurks beneath the apparent happy music is what gives it depth and how each spin is an experience. I think, personally, that the first half is stronger than the last, but once it dips it basically stays like that until the end, so it's not really high and low, rather high and then not quite as high.”

“« Roots » reprend où « Flowers » nous avait laissé, conduit par le lead très pur de Josefina Berglund Ekholm qui va chercher ses notes jusqu'au firmament. Les harmonies restent reines. Des vocaux agressifs auxquels la formation ne nous avait pas habitués pointent le bout de leur nez. L'album se fait généralement plus rock que son prédécesseur. On signe et on contresigne pour ce groupe dont on attend chaque nouvelle offrande comme l'oisillon dans son nid.”

“Im a Metalhead, but a band like Children Of The Sün is something that works for anyone that likes Rock,Blues, or just love music. It's very hard to select one track , cause this album is more mature then the first , every song tales you something, but i have to go for Blood Boils Hot..it's a heavy song, and so solid, buy the album , and support great musician skills ,and a singer that has a mighty voice .”
