“Canadian prog rock with first nations issues content. Rush, Mystery and Dream theater.lovers need to hear this.”
“Very classy of you at the Junos. Amazingly unselfish gesture in lieu of your acceptance speech. You just made a new fan and 2 purchases of your music. There is so much darkness in our past, its so hard to even know how to begin to address it. Keeping it out in the open, continuing discussions is a step in the right direction. All the best. Ps Think of Peterborough when you start gigging again.”
“Crown Lands, to borrow a quote from the Hives, is your new favourite band. These two young men are two of the nicest and humble rock titans I have ever met. They came to town Friday night and brought with them the sounds of pure rock n' roll. Would you like to know what they sound like? They sound like mother fucking Crown Lands. When you go to see one of their blistering sets you may just be impregnated with a baby made of the best raw rock to hit town. Scientists have yet to explain all of the knocked up guys that have seen this band live (I welcome my Little Rock n' Roll baby, I painted it's room orange) but acknowledge the phenomenon. They're a DIY band from Oshawa that can make the trees dance for them. If you get the chance, go see this two piece (you'd swear it's a full band) before they explode and start playing over priced festivals.”
