Dead Quiet

Dead Quiet is a Canadian doom/stoner metal/classic rock band from Vancouver, British Columbia formed in 2013. The group was created from the ashes of singer/guitarist Kevin Keegan’s previous band, [a=Barn Burner] (Metal Blade Records). In the winter of 2013, Keegan’s brought his songs and elisted experienced Vancouver musicians, Jason Dana (Bend Sinister, Karen Foster), Brock Macinnis (Anciients, Tobeatic) and bassist Aaron "Boon" Gustafson (Hashteroid) with the additional help of keyboard player Justin Hagberg (3 inches of Blood) to form Dead Quiet and record their self titled debut record in 2015. By the time writing for their follow-up album, 2017 "Grand Rites" began, the band had found it's core members in guitarist/vocalist/leader [a=Kevin Keegan (2)], guitarist [a=Brock MacInnes] (Anciients), bassist [a=Mike Grossnickle] (Hashteroid), and drummer [a=Jason Dana] (SprëadEagle, Karen Foster). Keyboardist/backing vocalist [a=Mike Rosen (11)] joined them during the making of their 2020 album "Truth and Ruin", completing the lineup.
