“With The Illusion of Reach, Déhà crafted one of the best depressive black metal releases of 2023 I have heard. Not only are the tracks interwoven seamlessly, they're enriched with post-rock influences and transcend genre boundaries with ease. The 66 minutes fly by, and as soon as Mind Over Matter starts bombarding you with its soul-stirring onslaught, it will expel out any and all negative emotions and thoughts from your head like a radiant beacon. A cleansing descent into inner turmoil. Great!”

“Could not agree with MJ more, the description really is to the point. Anything by Déhà is stellar & this is no exception & is a stunning album! It is very tastefully done. Usually DSBM is much more about the "D" & the "S" - not so here. This is superb music that just happens to be depressive as well... :) Thank you so much for all your music Déhà!
