“This was a *very* pleasant surprise that had me grinning by the time it was over. Frenetic and jammy heavy psych that never meanders or feels masturbatory, which is always a risk when long guitar solos are involved. Thankfully the band works great as a trio. The guitarist kills it on every track, and the bassist actually grabbed my attention in the midst of a guitar solo from time to time as well. The riffs are generally good but the band is at their best when improvizing in my opinion.”
