“The Truckers continue to be as relevant as ever , and in this era of right wing bullshit....it heartens me to see them as headstrong as ever.”

“i love how prolific DBT are. Reading the notes I can tell how much thought goes into album decisions, something that usually takes time. But they trust their instincts, which I think allows them to release material so consistently and regularly. I think it’s when they’re at their best. As Petty would say, don’t bore us, get to the chorus. I love the songs here because they’re pure, not overthought, reflective, and oddly cohesive considering their isolation.”

“This is some of DBT's best work in years. Quite unexpected when we just got a new DBT record. In the liner notes Patterson mentions one of the songs reminded him of Jason Isbell. I would LOVE to see some sort of special Isbell x DBT collaboration, with a full horn section and gospel choir. That would be amazing! Also, I know people complain about the politics. F em! Keep doing your thing Hood & Cooley! Don't let the bastards get you down!”

“I fucking love the DBT because they say so much of what I think and don’t take crap from anyone for expressing themselves through their kick ass music.”
