“Great album. Great band. Go see them live. Sateen has some great heart-pounding music and soaring vocals by front-woman Laura Dolan. Favorite tracks include Beggars Need, Shallow Water, Light Years Beyond and Magnetic Man. Featuring musical elements that will remind you of Black Sabbath, psychedelic rock and more. But don’t think EC is just a retro band. They are much more than that. Since I did not buy their second album Higher Time off Bandcamp I do not see a way to review it. But if you like Sateen then you will also enjoy Higher Time. Plus live in concert they have played a few tracks off album #3 which also sound great. Electric Citizen should only be getting more and more popular. But don’t wait - listen to them now so you can someday say “I knew them when....””
