  • Glam rock shouldn't have ever gone away. Thanks to Fever Dog for this awesome album that hits on every single track.

  • Hard to pick a favorite track when the entire album is an absolute joy to spin. Yeah, there's a lot of love for 70s grooves and glam here, and it's done with pinache, and that love comes through bright and shining, precious as a jewel. This album is my happy place. I can't say enough about it. A lot of fun in classic sounds played with a modern sensibility. One of my favorites of 2021.

  • This is a varied record that knows when to change things up, when to launch into the stratosphere, and when to dial things down a notch. Alpha Waves blends the fun of early ‘70s hard rock and glam rock with adventurous structures to make something quite unique and enjoyable. • These young Californians must have read the ‘70s rock songbook meticulously, and even if they borrowed a T. REX riff (‘Bruiser!’), and paid homage to Glam titans The Sweet (‘King of the Street’), they have a strong songwriting that make this ten tracks album stand on its own. They are wise guys that learned from the greats to craft their own sound. Overall a killer album with some trippy jams where keyboards are used with intelligence. It’s not 1973, but it’s ‘Ballroom Blitz’ again.
