“Absolute belter of an album. Reversal was an impressive album with a crisp production. Sudden Lag however builds on it with even more delicious layers of fuzz, walls of drums and goblin vocals. On that topic the vocals are also a stark improvement over the previous record. While the core is still punk, the songs themselves are multi-faceted. They all have a brilliant sense of tension and release, as a lot of great music often does. Immensely satisfying. For fans of Osees and King Gizzard.”
