Greenleaf are a stoner hard rock band from Borlänge, Sweden. They formed in 1999 and are still active. The band was formed by [a=Tommi Holappa] from [a=Dozer (3)] on guitar, [a=Karl Daniel Lidén] from [a=Demon Cleaner] on drums, [a=Bengt Bäcke] on bass and [a=Peder Bergstrand] from [a=Lowrider (2)] on vocals. Bäcke had previously produced all three of his new bandmates other bands. After their debut self-titled EP, Bergstrand left the band and was replaced by [a=Fredrik Nordin], also of [a=Dozer (3)]. For their second full-length record they added ex-[a=Demon Cleaner] guitarist [a=Daniel Jansson] to the line-up. On their third album, Lidén and Nordin were replaced by [a=Erik Bäckwall] from [a=Dozer (3)] and [a=Oskar Cedermalm] from [a=Truckfighters] respectively. Before recording Nest of Vipers, [a=Erik Bäckwall] was replaced on drums by [a=Olle Mårthans] and guitarist [a=Daniel Jansson] was replaced by [a=Johan Rockner]. Both these new members were also in [a=Dozer (3)].
