Hazemind was formed in Montreal when René "Bits" Hosson, Mathieu Pelletier and Elliot Cadieux jammed together for the first time at Hosson's rehearsal space in April 2022. The three soon moved to a dedicated spot for the band, nicknamed Hazemind HQ.
