  • Sweeping themes of melody and melancholy. ‘Compassion Forlorn’ is a more than fine gothic offering of gloom, beauty, and despair. ‘Delusive Eyes’ is by far the stand out track for me. 7/10

  • Solid record with some excellent riffs and the mixture off clean and harsh vocal are beauiful. Many songs with great lyrics.

  • I know I hear it, but it seems to skip the ears and go right to the soul. Well done, and they're only getting better with each album.

Some guy · favourite track: The Inner Crumble

  • Excellent sound direction, concise statements in the lyrics that give a layer of power alone, but the real power comes from the combined forces of deep bellowing growls, and the excellent music design from song to song. This was a sleeper hit for me that I needed badly with tracks displaying desperation in the most desperate of times.

  • Els Dies Tranquils is worth the price of admission alone, but the rest of the album is still accomplished doom/Goth metal
