  • If you’re not ripping off Black Sabbath on some level, are you even a heavy metal band? I think it’s safe to say that the members of High Reeper are fans, and those influences are pretty obvious on their debut album. Production is slick, and there’s a definite groove to this album. While it may not be one of those albums that sticks in the back of your mind, this record is fun, and that in itself is pretty important.

  • Sabbath-esque proto-doom with an authentic retro production, it's like Sabbath meets Buffalo meets Pentagram meets Budgie meets Stray meets Sir Lord Baltimore meets...... (add your own)

  • Elements of many of the doom standard bearers combined in one. Awesome stuff.
