  • My personal album of the decade so far, and every fan of progressive rock music should listen to this at least once. It's a work of true genius.

  • What a journey! The early time of the album conjures the holy mother of swagger, with swinging rhythms and riffs that would bring a tear to Elder’s eye, then the Americana takes more of its limelight, with the final showcasing both. Absolutely awesome dynamic heaviness and delicate lightness, mountainous build and release, flavorful bursts of airy major chords, tense half-steps, righteous rhythms and powerful vocal harmonies and lyrics – Huntsmen have knocked it out of the park!

  • Authentic melancholy serves as the unifying element of the entire album, yet the tracks convey far more emotions than mere sadness. Huntsmen manage to infuse their music with appropriate metal aggression and anger. The album, in terms of themes, reveals two distinct dimensions—inner struggle and subsequent reconciliation.

  • I've been struggling to describe this band's sound, and the nearest I can come up with is it's like if Fairport Convention and Black Sabbath had a baby. A hybrid of doom metal and folk rock that sounds like nothing else out there. Why this band isn't selling out stadiums, I'll never understand. They're incredible.

  • Killer album that defies easy placement in any of the dozens of subcategories that folks much younger than I came up with to pigeonhole metal bands. Just enjoy this awesome journey and don't worry about the genre. 10/10
