IKITAN is a heavy post-rock trio with a pinch of stoner, psych and progressive. Formed in 2019 in Genoa, Italy, IKITAN is Luca “Nash” Nasciuti (guitar), Frik Et (bass) and Enrico Meloni (drums and cowbell). The music of IKITAN weaves together intense and dreamy guitar textures, a punchy, stand-out bass, and a rock-solid, dynamic drum foundation. Think of their sound as a storm of melodic waves crashing with precision. They often draw comparisons to bands like Yawning Man, My Sleeping Karma, King Buffalo, Pelican, and Russian Circles.
