“At this point, I could hardly be more enthusiastic about Kavrila. The Rituals trilogy is a tremendous accomplishment, and I feel like II is a bit of an outlier stylistically. Starting right at Lidless, this record is more atmospheric and - surprise! - even reluctant until suddenly punching you in the gut and forcefully eviscerating your abdominal cavity with a halfheartedly grinded butter knife. Punishing, engaging and definitely worth hearing. Stop pondering and throw your money at these guys.”
