“While this is a decent EP, it's shocking how much they've matured in the two years since. The material on here is a bit unfocused, featuring smatterings of post rock, sludge, post metal, and while it features some interesting bits, they just feel a bit... spliced together. My biggest grievance is with The Giant (otherwise one of the better songs on the album), which cops the melody from OM - At Giza (6:00) wholesale. Anyway, it's a good debut. They've just gotten a lot better since.”

“Psychedelic Fuzz throughout. Really heavy on the grooves everything I like about this band.”

“Very solid stuff. Kurse isn't afraid to float between styles, so each song feels distinct and unique. For example, The Giant starts on some grunge but evolves, pushing into some heavy grooves briefly before drifting into psychedelic territory, only to then return with some heavy riffs and raw vocals. It finishes off by pulling back, allowing you to quietly finish the journey before you're sent off to begin the next trip: Mythos. Really looking forward to hearing more from Kurse in the future.”
