Nick Bradey · favourite track: Awakening The Divide
“There are tons of bands trying to imitate the old school sound nowadays, but what sets Landscape apart is that they have just the right kind of groove.”
Nocturnal Stalker · favourite track: The Trick To Letting Go
“So why are these guys not picked up by a label yet? Why does this not have a proper vinyl release? Groovy, soulful, organ-tastic tunes. Musically dark, with positive lyrical overtones and moody Astbury/Morrison-inspired vocals. A heavy psych rock band that stays true to the roots of the sound. Albums I, II, and III out of the way. Waiting for the next round of nostalgic psychedelia. Dust off your Leslie cab....”
Nerve Salad · favourite track: Awakening The Divide
“The 70s influences of the previous record have been pushed back a little and allowed for a paean to "Welcome to Sky Valley" to emerge. The rhythms are more driving, the guitars are fuzzier and less restrained, and the vocals are bluesier than "II". It seems like this band can do about anything and sound authentic, steeped in tradition, and rocking while doing it.”
MindOverFour · favourite track: Awakening The Divide
“Love this album! It's doom, it's progressive.....I'm even hearing a little Jim Morrison influence. This album would've been great for the old Hammer horror films.”
