  • After "Heliosphere", I just had to have more of Mantra Machine and "Nitrogen" just caught me. With solid, almost psychedelic grooves coupled with an overlay of hard-hitting power chords and soaring guitar solos, this is some very varying (sorry!) music. Foundations provided by hugely consistent and furious percussions, this album takes you from dizzying heights of energy to drop you back into soothing chills that resemble a more stoner feel. This is definitely one of the best buys!

  • Mantra Machine two records are probably the instrumental albums I have been listening the most this last few years. They are playing some dreamy soothing rock, not in a post-rock style, but rather some psychedelic spacey music, with a lot of positive vibrations and bluesy guitar work, and the right amount of groove and heaviness. Listen to that bassline on Thistle! And the drumming! Droning guitar and heavy riffs! The same goodness is found all throughout the album. What a spaceship!
