“This is one of my favorite albums and definitely the best thing I've bought on Bandcamp. I've listened to it so many times. I really wish they'd do more and tour. I'd love to see them live.”

“This album is so heavily reminiscent of sabbath you cant help but love it.”
“Istanah is just that, a ride, a damn fun ride as well, full of character, a great vibe and some really crunchy tones thrown out for audiences to vibe with, combine that with the utterly beautiful album art and you have a winning combo. - Full review at metalsaves.co.uk”

“Thriving on motifs of horror and fantasy, Marijannah unleash "Istanah", A fulminant stoner/doom album that soars towards the cosmic abyss on riffs that would make Iommi proud. The biggest highlight is its closer "Pluto", a monolithic track that moves onward like a glacial-paced funeral congregation. Topped off by atmospheric background vocals and a goosebumps-solo that glides towards infinity upon a seemingly never-ending wave of sustain. FULL REVIEW: www.crypt-guard.com/home/istanah-marijannah”

“Goodness gracious, the boys don't know how simple and effective their brand of stoner rock is! Tone and vocals have always been strong points, while the bottom end is downright sludge; feel the crush. Their debut was just a warm-up, this follow up is a much bigger banger!”
