  • I'm a software engineer who grew up in the 80s and 90s listening to heavy metal and playing video games. I feel like this band gets me at a deep level.

  • Most of MBR's work tends to be frantic, chaotic and consists of an overall dark atmosphere. Interrupt Request is different. This album has more of a structured approach, with even some optimism, which feels so unique this catalog of computer metal. That's not to say there aren't heavy moments, but the arpeggiated synths are used in a reserved manner that makes the melodies easier to follow. Feels like a precursor to 2022's "Personal Computer" in many ways. One of MBR's better releases!

  • A friend recommended this artist when I asked him if he listened to heavy metal. Instead I got precisely engineered silicon, copper, and gold machined unto a sheet of plastic that turned the millennium. That's heavy
