  • I'm not usually a fan of female vocals (just not my taste) but A.A. Williams' vocals on this two-track EP add so much to the music here. It's a very glacial EP in terms of the feel, a noir-like atmosphere much like Nowhere Now Here, and the vocals add a lot of tasteful substance to the sound. Her mournful, reserved vocal style matches the melancholy of the music to perfection. At the same time, there's an undertone of optimism and hope. A soundtrack for mid-winter blues!

  • Williams and Mono should make more music together

  • Achingly beautiful. I'd love to hear a full album like this.

  • "Two tracks on the album consists of both sensual and at the same time melancholic vocals by Williams and quite peaceful version of the Japanese' music. The latter took me by surprise" ENGLISH: http://labandzi.blogspot.com/2020/02/mono-aa-williams-exit-in-darkness-2019_4.html

  • Previously I found Mono a bit Mono dimensional, these lyrical notes add another dimension to a great band.
