“OATH was the first MONO album that released after I first heard their music, and thus, it holds some nostalgia value for me. Even without nostalgia bias, it's a brilliant release. To me, it feels like the anthem of the ideal marriage: a man and woman selflessly in love through it all. It carries that same sense of beauty throughout, even in the tense or melancholic moments. Taka seems to have struck a perfect balance on this album: lush melodies and immense soundscapes from the modern Beethoven!”
