“This album is a slow-burning, five-part neoclassical suite that progresses through a bittersweet, wordless story. MONO themselves don't even enter the picture until part 3, which is the turning point of the album, and they create a glorious finale in part 5. This album probably isn't for everyone but even so, it's a refined, elegant example of Taka's philosophy on music. Like watching a candle burn in the night as you reflect on your mistakes and your growth from them.”
