  • What's as important as riffs? Rhythm. That's a huge part of what makes a stoner/doom record (of which there is oversaturation) either tasty or bland, and Slumber Wood is the former. Expert arrangement, lots of breathing room for psychedelic passages between doomy slabs, expert production that lets the instruments sound like instruments instead of computer apps, and an interesting complex mood that can swing between triumphant and wallowing. Uncle Gary is right, your hair will start floating.
