“Why does this album make me think that its some kind of bastard hybrid mix of Pink Floyd and Leonard Cohen?? (though it doesn't sound like either artist) The album has some very heavy and dark vibes, with lyrics that take a look at the frailty and depravity of the human mind. Throw in a healthy sprinkling of desert to give a gritty texture that exposes itself the more you listen to it. Its grown on me enough I had to search down a vinyl copy.:) Two thumbs up!!”

“Another fantastic release from Mountain Dust. Although gloomier than ‘Nine Years’, this album still rocks hard, delivering plenty of soulful blues and powerful grooves.”

“It has to be a pretty spectacular stoner/heavy blues album to excite me, as it is a genre that I thought had peaked. But Mountain Dust reinvigorates the genre. They capture an epic and mystical mood, bringing together the intensity of the Crazy World of Arthur Brown, something poetic and timeless, like the Tragically Hip and 16horsepower, and killer vocals and riffs reminding me at times of Danzig 2. Such a remarkable album.”

“It was not unexpected for Mountain Dust to release a great album, but I did not expect this level of maturity. They showed potential on 'Nine Years', ear-marking them as a successor to Graveyard. On LP2, it's clear they are intent on furrowing their own path. The chilling 'Witness Marks' is a brooding number, gothic in tone, channelling 'No More Shall We Part' era Nick Cave, the vocals are stunning on this number, and a are hallmark throughout this album of soulful, outlaw blues”
