“Epic compositions reminiscent of Vander Graff Generator but poor recording/mixing/mastering at least for the digital download option. Drums are opaque and should be right and centre. Vocals are very hidden. With a better production could be excellent this band.”
“The sidelong title track is an enjoyable opus with a rich variety of colors and textures. Side two doesn’t have anything nearly as ambitious, but the music is solid, nonetheless. Full review here: https://theeliteextremophile.com/2023/09/04/odds-ends-september-4-2023/”
“Mouth is firmly rooted in 70s style hard rock or acid rock as it was called back in the day. So much so that they even named an album Live 71 even though they are a current band whose first album was in 2009. Although they fully embrace that scene and vibe I can’t really place one band that they sound like. They aren’t afraid to be different. Who starts an album with a 22 minute track? They do! They are their own animal and a lovely beast it is.”
“because Side A + B :)”
“Great band with new album of incredible retro hard prog . Mouth is keeping seventies acid rock alive . They have their own sound which is great . They are no band’s clone . And oh , yeah , they open with a 22 minute monster of a song .”
