“If Opeth were a doom band. Fucking awesome.”
“wow, how did this band stay under my radar so long? this is awesome! sludgy stoner with a vibe... well, grandeur is the word that comes to mind.”
“Swedish stoner sludge/doom. Not my everyday fare, but I was drawn in immediately by the beautiful songwriting, ace production, and relevant themes. Fabulous vocals too. An album for the times. Highly recommended ffo the genre. Edit — I’ve kept coming back to this gem since its release. A record that just nails the collective moment for me. Fantastic stuff.”

“"House of the Dead" was my introduction to Ordos. I was stoked when "Fire" popped up on my feed!! I'm going through an...existential crisis, one might say, and the lyrics on "There is More" just hit me way too hard. And that closing sequence on "Ferment"... CLOSE YOUR EYES Ordos is now at the top of my list of favourite sludge/stoner bands. I love the rhythms on this record.”
