  • If one were to ask me what album best embodies the "spirit" of doom metal, I'd show them Sorrow and Extinction without missing a beat. Sure, you have your classics from the "Big Four", but Pallbearer truly evokes the doom in doom metal. Not a single track on this sonic masterpiece misses the mark, most especially "The Legend."

  • One of the most beautiful albums I've ever had the joy of listening to.

pit-face · favourite track: An Offering Of Grief

  • Great vocals & songwriting. Recommended for fans of Warning and 40 Watt Sun.

Spinebrain · favourite track: Devoid Of Redemption

  • My introduction to this most formidable Band… I’ve owned this album in numerous iterations, everything always sounds better in the Bandcamp app. ❤️‍🔥

Sun. Disappear · favourite track: Foreigner

  • The delicate balance between despair and hope, crushing riffs and angelic melodies, and the incredible voice and production make this album one of the greatest doom metal albums of all time. Foundations of Burden somehow surpasses this absolute masterpiece.
