“Heavier and Sabbathier (?) than their debut EP, this album really sets the tone for what to expect from Pesta. Heavy up front with some groove in the middle, these are some really great songs overall. Perhaps a better entry point than “Here she comes,” this should be required listening for any stoner/doom fan.”

“Son of a Witch and these guys make doom metal the greatest Brazilian export article ever. Heavy as Hell \m/”

“You can't always judge an album by its cover. Thought this was going to be much darker and heavier. It definitely has some doom elements but also a very old school metal sound. Do you like Goatsnake, Danzig and Iron Butterfly? If so, you'll probably dig this.”
“For their debut release Pesta have put together a superb hard rock-tinged doom album. The brazilians have got a great "fat" sound to their riffs and excellent vocalist Thiago Cruz utilizes an old-fashioned clean vocal delivery that we hear so rarely in modern metal music.”
“Start off 2016 right, and crank this up to max. With all the talk of riffs, the value of a wicked bassline is sometimes overlooked. Not here it isn't. Hell. Yes.”
