“Shyga to me feels like the record that bridges PPC's discography. There's more sonic experimentation this time around: heavier, more layered guitars--as well as thrash inspired fast-paced drumming at the beginning of the closer track, feel like a precursor to some of the stuff found on Night Gnomes and Fronzoli, however the sound of the first two records are of course present here. Shyga is another excellent outing in the PPC universe.”
