“The Middle Eastern feel is much stronger on this album than on earlier releases and that is a great thing. Considering Hashisism began in the Middle East with Hassan I Sabbah, it's a good thing to hear a band embrace that sound in stoner/doom/psych setting. Pyraweed is quickly becoming one of my go to bands. Would love to have some vinyl from them.”

“Crushing riffs, death growls and some psych elements all mixed in”
“Great heavy music and the vocals are better on this vs. their other releases. My favorite of the Pyraweed collection.”

“Crazy, full and rich record. I love it so much I even created my own story about it. 1. The Black Blinding Sun is opened for the people to see it; 2. The sun takes the listener to itself; 3. The listener experiences the deep sleep caused by this sun; 4. The sun releases the listener with new experiences and emotions to the real world.”
