Alternative rock band formed in 1989 in Birmingham, and based in Guildford, England. Redwood released 6 singles & 1 album during the 1990s gaining critical & fan acclaim. As the music scene started to drift away from guitar driven music towards dance & pop styles the band were dropped. When Redwood ceased activities in 1999, the members formed [a=Lazydog] as an outlet for a more acoustic based sound using three part harmonies. They have played a small number of live gigs since then under the name Redwood. Several members currently play together as a function band called Rollercoaster.
