“So, you can't really bottle the feeling of a Russian Circles show and preserve it on an album. They really are such a force live that you just have to experience it. But, having said that, this album comes remarkably close. In particular the stretch from Afrika to Harper Lewis to Geneva is just freaking perfect. But the whole album is fantastic and -- IMNSHO -- just cements the fact that Turncrantz is the preeminent drummer in the post- scene.”
