  • I discovered this band by chance with this album. I've been at once captivated by the smooth power of their doom, epic and lyrical, led by a beautiful melodic voice. If any traces of it remain here and there, the acrid greasy aftertaste of stoner rock has been seriously diluted compared to their previous releases, to my great satisfaction.

  • A little less meandering and whimsical than their last, but well made up for with aggressive and focused songwriting!

  • Atmospheric stoner/doom. If you don't find it absolutely fantastic, I have a box of Q-tips for you.

  • I bought this album expecting doom, got an album full of eclectic heavy rock that is closer to American bands like Mastodon than British Doom ala Cathedral. Still, the vocals are absolutely gorgeous, the production is lush and punchy, the melodies ebb and flow. This album is a like a warm blanket on a cold winter's evening. And yes, there are nods to that classic British doom sound dispersed throughout the album. Not quite what I had expected, but a fantastic album nonetheless.

  • I was sooo late to the party with this band. This is an amazing album which prompted me to buy their entire back catalogue.
