  • In Dark Eternity is an album of contrasts, weaving in genre-atypical instruments with ease and elegance while also standing its ground perfectly fine when only relying on classical funeral doom instrumentation. Angelic, pristine clean vocals and some of the most abyssal death growls imaginable, done by the same person. Despite the crushing heaviness it brings to the table, this album is an unwinding and soothing listen. Full review: https://www.funeraldoom.org/silent-deep-ocean-in-dark-eternity/

  • This album has a Beauty and the Beast vibe to me, where Beauty is Amelia from Myrkur and the Beast is a funeral doom vocalist. The differently tuned violins give a nice balance next to the ordinary tuned distorted guitars. Really cool ideas and a nice atmosphere can be found here however the production could have been a bit more polished or a bit more raw for my taste.

  • Thank you Greg for bringing Tehina on board. She brings a fresh dynamic talent. Her album from last year was magnificent! In Dark Eternity brings us the first must own funeral doom album of 2025. It's rich, complex, and absolutely stunning!

  • US Atmospheric Doom / Gothic Metal. What started as a one man, Gregory Ritchey, project & now has the addition of Tehina Spasova (of the excellent project "Destruction Of Orion"). This is the best so far imho! The emotions with the interplay between Tehina's guttural & clean vocals create a stunning effect! As already pointed out by, the atmospheres created in the songs is truly haunting! Hard to pick a favourite! Highly recommended!!!
