“I appreciate that they saved all this material for an EP. I couldn't see these songs fitting on TTD or Eye the Tide, but it's still very distinctly Spaceslug. Space Sabbath is derivative but really fun and brooding, and the 2001 movie sample works beautifully. Ephemeral sounds drugged out and very reminiscent of 60s psychedelia. I Am the Gravity is surprisingly aggressive and rocken, with some great brooding riffs in the latter half. A unique entry in their catalog, imho.”
