“This record has no right to be as good as it is.”

“Why do I love this album, just listen to it. Pure Ozzy worship.”
The Midnight Toker. · favourite track: Grim Rituals
“Contemporary, fuzzed-out doom metal that confidently trumpets old-school roots without discarding modern technique. Gotta love how the drums finds their own groove while still managing to carve a beat for the rest of the band to follow! Spiral Shades are a goddamned standard bearer for modern doom -- listen to this album and just try to deny it. Tony Iommi should legally adopt these kids and call them his own.”

“While many bands seek to emulate Black Sabbath, Spiral Shades in fact channel Sabbath. This album sounds like a logical progression from Master Of Reality, and may even be better than some of the Ozzy-era Sabbath albums. Yeah, that's blasphemy, I know, but God didn't strike me down with a bolt of lightning just now, so I know he agrees with me. At any rate, this album is great”
“This is one of the best things I've found in Bandcamp”
