  • I’m quickly learning that trying to pick a favourite SUNNATA album is a fool’s errand, but I agree that this one is the best place to start. Transcendent stuff!

  • Incredible music. From this album I started to love Sunnata music.

  • As we prepare ourselves spiritually, physically, and mentally for Sunnata’s upcoming Chasing Shadows, it is as good a time as any to reflect upon the band’s incredible discography, which stands as one of the finest in all of sludge/ stoner, and even (modern) doom for that matter. Zorya is probably Sunnata’s heaviest album and though it is a smidgen less dynamic than Outlands, it is the best entry point for new listeners who want to know what’s what. Perfect soundtrack for steamrolling your foes.

  • I believe this was the second album/vinyl I ever bought on Bandcamp years ago. Still some of the most crushing songs I’ve ever heard. I love all eras of SUNNATA, but this album holds a special place in my heart. That place being at the very bottom because fuck is it heavy.
