“Vol 1 is a great first outing from Surya. Dirtier & more raw than their album Overthrown; there’s an engaging & more earthy feel from the band. It’s always nice to see the roots of a band so you can see their progression. I feel that there’s a more Alternate than Stoner feel to this one but it is still enjoyable romp.”
