  • A fresh perspective on one of metal’s oldest sounds, this album breathes fresh life into that classic doom sound. Leaning heavily into the occult, Midnight Mirror has more of a doom ‘n’ roll feel to it while still holding tightly to those exquisite riffs. Less Sabbath Worship than just taking what was old and making it feel new again. This is a record I can listen to endlessly and never get tired of it.

  • Absolutely ripping groovy occult retro doom. An immensely fun album to listen to. It almost has a Jethro Tull gone doom vibe to it (to my ears, at any rate) which is quite different and I'm really digging it.

  • Midnight Mirror reflects a pristine image of Scandinavian doom, shining with deep rumbling grooves, occult inspired vocal chops and hard hitting riffs catchy like the cover art. Tempelheks have constructed a stairway to the desert/doom heaven showcasing their ability to bring together catchy hooks and low end doom without skipping a beat. The vocals really shine when he lets it all out.
