  • themouthofthearchitect's vast collection revealed this instru-metal treasure to me. I nearly choked on my cracklins when I heard these heavy tunes. Really dig how this album explores a concept with plenty of sonic variety.

  • This band is perfectly named. Their beautiful and crushing soundscapes are the soundtrack to the transfiguration of worlds. The riffs are the seeds of life that give rise to giants. Call it progressive, doomy post-rock if you like, but these instrumental journeys should satisfy even the most fervent anti-hipster metal head.

  • It's Official; these Guys Crank! Again many genres covered in this collection. "Beast" has a bit of doomy/black metal guitar play contained in it. "Wolves" returns to Post-Rock/Metal territory. "Wyverne" has a melodic signature that lays underneath the wall of post-rock solos that bring the track to its full fruition. Every Melody is well structured and time changes within the same track and commonplace. Excellent Instrumental Collective.

  • like their previous effort, terraformer take a concept and display everything metal and gnarly about it. the sea shaper had literal references to Melville and Lovecraft. this album does much the same except now we're lost in time, midst the creatures of legend, mere fodder for the beast. enjoy \m/

  • It's rare when I buy music. But when I do, it's because Terraformer released new ear orgasms!
