“Dear god - the last album was brilliant but "Meridians" is something even more crushing and heavy. The doom element is a strong aspect to the atmosphere; so is the spaced-out psychedelic bliss of the ambient passages. But when they come together and are anchored by the bass from hell, the results are colossal. Still think the peak is reached by the insane build-up and release of the latter section of "Beacon/Ox Eye." The album is a challenging, experimental and emotionally direct statement.”
