“The effects chain on this album is absolutely fucked up in the best way possible. We’ve skipped past industrial and gone straight into an eldritch type of sound. Everything’s muted and distorted, bleeding over itself in one of the most atmospheric ways possible. Some precise chopping and sound cutting helps to dig into that feeling of dread, really working upon what Opal was using on “Murder Club” as a base to make something even more thematically resonant.
