Wicked Lady

The Wicked Lady or: Wicked Lady. Were a Hard Rock/early Heavy Metal trio from Northamptonshire England active between 1968-1972 who achieved some success as a live band, in their area. However almost no photos of the group playing exist, and recordings made during their existence only surfaced long after Wicked Lady came to an end. Their name is taken from one unique pub drink available at the time. They tend toward long Very heavy guitar and bass jams. Not to be confused with another group called Wicked Lady an All-girl Hard Rock quartet formed in 1974 who gigged mostly Europe and the UK until about 1981(See Separate Entry "Wicked Lady").
