  • Pentagram and Black Sabbath had parallel careers, albeit one far more successful than the other. And while Sabbath remains the barometer by which all others are judged, Pentagram’s sound was a little faster and a little more percussive, and to say a band sounds like Pentagram is not to say it sounds like Sabbath. This band leans towards Pentagram in all the best ways, with vocals reminding of Dio’s midrange. Changeups galore, heavy, musical, rhythmic. And gnarly as fuck. Instant classic.

  • There are albums that don't ignite with me immediately, but then they do tremendously. Here they offer great traditional Heavy Stoner Doom from Virginia USA. I particularly like the rhythmic guitar runs and the strumming of the bass

  • The generals and witches have gathered in their masses and both agree… this band keeps getting better with each release. Expanding on the love for the riff, songwriting and production, Wood Witch prove they’re not just another flash in the overflowing pan of doom.

  • Sabbath worship of the best kind. Irresistible grooves, beautiful bass tone, and genuinely outstanding songwriting. This album has been in my car for a week, and I like it more every time I hear it. Truly excellent songwriting that doesn't try to reinvent the wheel. It's more like Bach creating a cantata from a popular hymn. Much appreciation for track 6 which strongly evokes my favorite Sabbath song, A National Acrobat.
